Matar Paneer

- 200 g paneer, cubed
- 1 cup matar (green peas)
- 2 medium tomatoes, pureed
- 1 tsp adrak (ginger) paste
- 3 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp garam masala powder
- ½ tsp zeera (cumin seeds)
- 1 pinch sugar · Salt to taste
- 4 tbsp oil
Method
Heat oil. Add zeera and let it splutter.
Add coriander powder, red chilli, and garam masala. Add tomatoes, ginger paste, a pinch of sugar, and salt. Fry until oil separates.
Add peas with a splash of water. Cover and cook for 2 minutes or until peas soften.
Add paneer cubes and cook for 1 minute. Serve with roti or rice.
